Beauty Recipe: Nourishing Avocado Mask

 
 
Avocados have long been used as a key ingredient in skincare, and now you have the chance to try reap the benefits of nature's miracle moisturizer! Here's how to make your own nourishing face mask perfect for any skin type...
 
What You'll Need:

1/2 Medium-Ripe Avocado
1 TBSP All-Natural Honey
1 TBSP All Natural Yogurt
A Few Cooled Cucumber Slices




Here's How:

1. Mash the avocado with a fork until it's creamy 
The natural vegetable oil in the avocado soothes and softens the skin and works as an excellent moisturizer, while the potassium, also commonly referred to as the "youth mineral" keeps skin looking vibrant and healthy. 

2.  Add 1 tbsp of all-natural honey to the avocado mash
Honey contains antiseptic properties which prevent the growth of bacteria, and heals the skin from certain infections and skin conditions.


3. Stir in the yogurt
Yogurt contains lactic acid which softens and soothes the skin as well as tightens and refines large pores. 




4. Touch of cucumber
Cut two slices of cucumber to place over your eyes. Put them in the fridge until cooled to reduce puffiness around the eyes. 

5. Wash your face
Wash your face with warm water and pat it dry. Apply a think layer of the avocado mask over your face and neck. Place the cucumber slices over your eyes and relax for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, pat dry, and finish with your favorite moisturizer.
